Wellington Wheelers Cycling Club. A social cycling club based in Wellington Somerset for riders of all ages and abilities. We run rides throughout the week as well as Time Trials in the summer and trips to the Newport Velodrome. The social side of the club is also taken very seriously with each ride having a cafe stop, and several events planned through the year including a summer BBQ, an Easter Egg Hunt and the Christmas lunch. Welcome to the Wellington Wheelers Cycling Club

The Wellington Wheelers Cycling Club is based in Wellington in Somerset, UK. It has regular club runs on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesday evenings. There are about 195 members of varying ages, abilities and interests, although put out tea and cake and you'll probably find a common thread.

We run Audaxes, Time Trials, a Hill Climb, an Easter Egg Hunt and a Mince Pie Run throughout the year.  

We love all members of the club to get involved in each of our events, even if you don't want to ride you can come along and support the riders by being a marshall or helping with refreshments.

A major part of our club is the social side and we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, friendly cycling club. Our three Sunday rides now cater for riders of all abilities which means that no one gets dropped from the pack and you don't have to make your own way home, someone will always be looking out for you. If you're new to cycling then our more experienced members are happy to help you learn more about your bike, how to use your gears more effectively and of course, how to avoid getting a sore bum!

As well as our regular rides we hold several social events throughout the year. When our Wednesday night rides are in full swing we head to the pub at the end of each month.
